In addition, students study grammar, writing, reading

participate in extracurricular activities offered by MLC.
Our school provides a placement test to determine at which

Intermediated
Study
Class
discussions give students an opportunity to begin using their Chinese in
a wide variety of everyday situations. In addition, a greater proportion
of class time is devoted to developing reading and writing skills. At
the high-intermediate level, students are given greater freedom to
design their own curricula, and may select from a wide variety of
classes and study materials. To ensure that students understand the
context of the language they are studying, Chinese history and culture
are integrated into the curriculum starting at this level.
