Convenient Schedules

Metropolitan Language Center offers classes seven days a week.  We are open 8am-10pm Monday through Friday, 9am-6pm on Saturday and Sunday.  Certainly, you will find a schedule that fits your needs.

Frequent Class Starts

New classes begin each week, so you'll never wait long to begin your Chinese/English classes.

Quality Control

We require that our instructors meet and surpass the rigorous standards of the New York State Education Department.  All our instructors are highly experienced, and each must complete a thorough orientation prior to teaching with MLC.  Additionally, instructors are observed at least biweekly by a supervisor to ensure their effectiveness.

Personal Attention

Within a friendly environment and small sized classes, students will have a better chance to intersect with their instructors on a more personal level. 

Progress Monitoring

Before beginning a course at MLC, you will take an oral and a written placement test to determine your level of ability.  You will also be given final exams in each class, which will help monitor your progress and identify your strengths and weaknesses.

Certificate

Upon courses completion, you will receive a certificate that you'll be proud to present as evidence of your accomplishments.  Upon completion of individual levels, you will also receive a letter of completion.

College and Graduate School Placement

For those who plan to continue studying in colleges or graduate schools in the United States, MLC provides exclusive services to guarantee our students entrance to one of the top 500 universities or graduate schools for study.

Metropolitan Language Center is certified by the New York State Education Department. It is also authorized by the U.S. Department of Immigration to enroll non-immigrant foreign students.
